Position Title: Patent Agent or Patent Attorney
Overview. This is a unique position for a motivated person that involves all areas of patent prosecution including performing patent searches and preparing patent applications. Qualified candidates should have
a degree in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Start Date: Immediate.

Responsibilities:
- Work Hours. Flexible work hours.
- Patentability Searches and Opinions. Perform patentability searches and prepare patentability opinions.
- Patent Applications. Prepare provisional and non-provisional patent applications.
- Office Actions. Review USPTO Office Actions and prepare responses to Office Actions.
- Client Communications. Communicating with
prospective clients and existing clients regarding their files and software licenses both verbally and in writing.
- Confidentiality. Maintain confidentially of all client
and firm information and procedures. A Confidentiality Agreement is
required to be executed with the firm before employment.
Required Skills, Competencies, Abilities and Education to Succeed
in Position:
- Education/Experience. Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Degree. Registration with U.S. Patent & Trademark Office preferred but not required initially (all applicants not registered with the USPTO must be willing to take the patent bar exam within a reasonable period of time of employment).

skills, both verbal and written.

Position Title: IT Support Technician (Full-Time or Part-Time)
Overview. This is a unique position for a motivated person that involves providing IT support for Neustel Law Offices, LTD and technical support for customers of Neustel Software, Inc. The position serves as a single point of contact
within the information systems department for all desktop hardware and software.
Team position also manages software development and technical support for Neustel
Software, Inc. Requires excellent troubleshooting skills, written and verbal
communication skills and customer service skills. Qualified candidates must have
a degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience.
Start Date: Immediate.

Responsibilities:
- Work Hours. 8 am to 5 pm (1 Hour Lunch Break), Monday
Through Friday with additional work hours required at times upon request. Flexible work hours are available.
- Manage Computer System. Responsible for managing/maintaining
the computer network, computers, Internet and software.
- Manage Software Development. Responsible for managing the development and maintenance
of software products for Neustel Software, Inc. (see PatentHunter,
PatentWizard, ConfidentialityWizard)
including communicating with remote programmers.
- Software Sales. Responsible for ensuring software orders
are filled.
- Software Technical Support. Responsible for providing
technical support for software provided by Neustel Software, Inc.
- Light HTML Programming. Responsible for light HTML programming
to keep websites updated and current. Work with outside website programmers.
- Phones. Assist as backup for telephones
for Neustel Law Offices, LTD (including answer and screen incoming phone calls and
route to appropriate parties in the firm). Lead on phones for Neustel Software, Inc.
- Client Communications. Verbally communicating with
prospective clients and existing clients regarding their files and software licenses.
- Assist Others. Assist others in the office with various
tasks as needed (may not be related to information technology or software).
- Correspondence. Process and/or track incoming correspondence.
- Confidentiality. Maintain confidentially of all client
and firm information and procedures. A Confidentiality Agreement is
required to be executed with the firm before employment.

in a computer related field or equivalent work experience.
